Tell us a bit about yourself….

Miss Violet O’Hara is my name, and I’m on a mission to give you “an odd little thrill” during your entertainment experience. As an emcee, I’ve entertained thousands and have copious experience in hosting grand scale as well as intimate events including festivals, burlesque productions, private parties, weddings, charity benefits, pin up pageants, fashion shows, art receptions and vaudevillian variety productions. My style is energetic, my laughter infectious and my language oftentimes scandalous! I’m a top-notch professional based in Dallas, Texas. My attention to detail and organizational prowess enhance every production I am involved with. Let my energetic effervescence add magic and merriment to your entertainment experience!

As you have grown within your talent, what inspires you to create?

The caliber of local and national talent in the burlesque scene is a constant inspiration to continue to learn and grow as a performer.

How long have you been producing your craft and why did you begin this form of expression?

I first discovered the local burlesque scene in 2006 and hit the stage in the Fall of 2009. The creativity, diversity and spectacle of this form of live performance art is thrilling and interacting with a live audience is very rewarding.

What do you ultimately want to accomplish with your talent?

My aspirations as an emcee are to continue expanding my repertoire of hosting to include more pageants, art receptions, fashion shows burlesque festivals and private functions both nationally and internationally.

Outside of your artistry, what other interests do you have?

Spending face to face time with my close circle is vital to my quality of life, so I spend a lot of my free time with them. Traveling, reading and movies are also pleasurable pastimes.

What was your first experience with ArtLoveMagic?

In 2010, I had the pleasure of attending both Underground and Girl Show. Both of these events were very enjoyable and introduced me to many artists that I still follow today.
